Mr. Saliu kick-started his career as an Administrative Officer II in the Students’ Affairs Division of the Registry, Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti in January 1995. While as an Administrative Officer, he was posted to Council and General Administration Unit of the University where he was served under the Principal Assistant Registrar (Council and General Administration).
Mr. Saliu joined the services of the University of Ibadan, as a Deputy Registrar, on July 7, 2014, and was posted to serve in the newly established, University of Ibadan School of Business. He worked in the UI School of Business until 24 July, 2017 when he was redeployed to head the Registry’s Establishments (Academic Staff Matters) Division. In November 15, 2020, he joined the Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa, Ondo State, as a Registrar, having obtained a leave of absence from the University of Ibadan.
Prior to his appointment as the 13th Registrar of the University of Ibadan, a leave of absence was approved to enable him to serve and contribute his wealth of experience to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa, Ondo State as Registrar, a noble position he attained on 15 November, 2020.
Mr. Saliu is happily married with children.
He assumed duty as the 13th Registrar of the University of Ibadan on Tuesday, 11 April, 2023.
